MongoDB is a scalable, high-performance, open source, document-oriented database. It offers easy extensibility and scalability and is DEVart's preferred solution for our Claudo CMS, which is built on cloud principles and thus should scale without making changes to the application. Since MongoDB is a document-oriented database in true NoSQL style, it was the ideal candidate for serving as the backend of our CMS.
